Every year, Johannesburg in South Africa hosts the Pick'n Pay Cycle Tour. It's a total festival of cycling with a packed Expo at Kyalami, and a full day of mountain biking to add to the excitement of the build up to 'Cycle Challenge Sunday'.
For serious mountain bikers on a South African holiday, it's a good idea to bring a bike as there are so many wonderful trails. But, of course, bikes are available for renting.
